Keystone team members ASA winners in the “Best Research” category

The annual Australasian Sonographers Association (ASA) conference, like so many events this year was conducted virtually, with many members of the Keystone Ultrasound team once again participating in the online conference, which run over the 17th– 18th October.

With a total of 89 Speakers and 118 Presentations, our team were exposed to multiple streams covering an array of speciality areas.  Conference attendees were also invited to provide visual presentations in the form of an Eposter competition.

Three members of our dedicated Ultrasound team, Randhir Sewgolam, (Tutor Sonographer) Chris Hayes (Chief Sonographer) and Dr Simon Ussher (Consultant Radiologist), collaborated on an E-poster submission detailing their findings on “Reducing Unnecessary Thyroid FNAs – ACR TI-RADS”  and were fortunate to be announced as the ASA winners in the “Best Research” category for their project.

The entire Keystone Radiology team are incredibly proud and would like to commend Chris, Randhir and Simon on their efforts.
